Our two powerful custom fully-equipped dive boats (28ft/8.5m with 230HP and 30ft/9m with 400HP) allow us to reach the furthest dive sites in less than 20 minutes.
The average of the water temperature is 79° - 85° F (26° - 30° C) and the high visibility (60-120ft/18-40m) which allows sport diving throughout the entire year
Our Open Water Course is focused on three major areas: Academic Training, Confined Water Training and Open Water Training.
1. Academic Training
Includes reading of the open water manual and completion of the Review questions at the end of each module; watching of the open water video; and overview of necessary theoretical knowledge about diving.
2. Confined Water Training
Pool session to practice diving theory until student is comfortable with every skill requested to perform in the open water.
3. Open Water Training
Includes five open water dives, four for training purposes and one for extra practice and experience. During the training dives student will demonstrate ability to perform the skills previously performed in the pool. The remaining bottom time will be a classical diving tour. Every open water dive will be a boat dive.
Training programs are performance based, not time based; therefore the length of the course is flexible, usually 3 to 4 days, from 9:00 AM to noon and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Academics and confined water training are usually done during the morning, and the open water dives are scheduled in the early afternoon.
To ensure you a top level of quality and safety, our maximum instructor to student ratio is 1:4.
